RSVP still asks about “events” after deleting planning events
RSVPThe checkbox question on the public RSVP form is tied to Locations under Content (RSVP per venue), not the Planning > Events list.
Where do I find this?
Wedding Site > Content > Edit Locations section
Step by Step
- 1Understand the difference: Planning > Events is your schedule/program list. The RSVP checkboxes on the guest-facing form come from the “Locations” section under Content.
- 2Each location can have “Show in RSVP” enabled – then a checkbox appears with your RSVP label (e.g. “Free ceremony”). That is independent of whether any rows still exist under Planning > Events.
- 3If you deleted all planning events but the question remains: go to Wedding Site > Content and open the Locations section.
- 4Per location: turn off “Show in RSVP” (or remove the entry) if guests should no longer confirm per venue.
- 5Save the section. Once no location has RSVP enabled, the checkbox block no longer appears.
Tips
- This is not a leftover from deleted events: planning events and RSVP location checkboxes are stored separately.
- Onboarding often enables “Show in RSVP” for locations – turning it off under Content > Locations removes the question.
- Custom RSVP questions under Guests & RSVP > Questions are separate; this line is not a custom question.
